OPERATING PRINCIPLE

NU.ER.T. rotating pumps are self-priming and can be installed in any position.

As fluid enters the pump, the centrifugal force generated by the rotating vanes pushes the fluid into the delivery line and generates positive pressure.

The bypass built into the pump enables the user to set the desired maximum pressure.

A mechanical filter (100 mesh) made of stainless steel, which can filter particles as small as 150 microns if required, is built into the pump. The filter traps impurities and assures a particularly long service life.

The pumps are coupled with special motors having characteristics that can meet any application requirement. The connection between pump and motor can be ring-type or flanged, as required.

To assure the longest possible service life, the pump must never be allowed to operate without fluid. Also, excellent filtration must be provided at the intake to trap impurities and scale.

• Self-priming performance (dry) exceeds a one meter column of water under standard conditions
• Maximum temperature of fluid being pumped: 50°C (a model which can handle temperatures of up to 90°C is available upon request)

• Non Metal parts: Shaft seal in graphite and nitrile rubber (available in VITON upon request)

• Bypass valve: in polycarbonate and 6.6 nylon
• Mounting clamp: in AISI 303 stainless steel
